... we have international tournaments and championships for WH & 40k and our players (WH, 40k, WH Historical, Flames of War) play on tournaments in Austria, Croatia and Serbia ... there was just this weekend a "general gaming day"; kind of an unstructured "convention" where people could come with whatever games they wished, but Idon't know how many came.
I just checked the forum and there are no events declared yet, but I will follow it and as soon as there will be a tournament mentioned, I will let you know.
The only thing planned right now is a Maquette (is that the word - you know; plastic military models) tournamnet in Kranj on 28. and 29. May, and there will also be some miniature trains, metal models and also some demoing of WH and possibly WH Historical. Here is 2010 galery http://www.svm.si/galerija/ and as you can see, there was very little tabletop strategy ...
There used to be a "games day" held each year; a convention for board games, tabletop games, Tolkien clubs etc., but for some reason there was none for some years now. There is also a gaming event each summer in Piran (I think in July or August), but nothing has yet been declared for this year.
Perhaps we should make a convention that would be interesting for hobbyists from Italy, Austria and Croatia, since Ljubljana is positioned nicely between them all!

-ci sono giocatori e tornei internazionali di WH & 40k WH Historical e Flames of War)
- recentemente c'è stato un giorno di giochi informalmente organizzato, dove la gente andava e giocava quello che voleva ma non sa darmi dati più precisi,
- a Kranj il 28. e 29. May ci sarà un incontro di modellisti http://www.svm.si/galerija/ ( le foto dell' anno precedente )
- di solito a Pirano in luglio o agosto c'è una convention di giochi per per ora non si sa niente;
- appena sa qualche cosa mi avvertirà.
- quindi gente, prepariamoci a spostare il circo ludico ad Est !
