- Si terrà a Manchester da venerdì 10 a domenica 12 agosto 2012 il tradizionale Britcom. Fra pochi giorni apparirà il sito definitivo. 
- ci sarà anche un torneo di ARMATI per il quale gli organizzatori pensano ad alcune modifiche per rendere alcune armate più competitive e quindi farle scegliere dai giocatori e far così di nuovo eticamente presentabili e giocabili le armate mariane e cesariane, che di solito sono escluse dai tornei, perché killerarmies.
- come fanno
?: considerano tutte le LHI e CL, nessuna esclusa, unità Key e le regole di HC, di Terreno e di Iniziativa in modo da finire comunque la partita in 15 turni. 
- evidentemente ritengono che, aumentando il BP grazie alle nuove Key, sarà più difficile per gli eserciti tosti ma con meno BPs arrivare fino in fondo alla mattanza.
- in generale io sono contrario
a modificare i Regolamenti, ma posso accettare che giocatori di tanta esperienza come quelli inglesi ogni tanto cerchino nuove emozioni 
- inoltre interessante anche che, evidentemente per dare un forte ancoraggio al periodo storico, limitino le Armate fra il 86 aC ed il 27 aC ( fra la morte di Mario ed Augusto ). Nei prox. giorni mandaranno su Yahoo ARMATI la lista della Armate per gli incerti....
2). the restricted era for the event is: all A2 & all AFT Warflute & Warfloot lists between the dates 86 BC (the death of Marius) and 27BC (the rise of Augustus as sole Dictator). This excludes the Early Imperial Roman armies of Augustus.
There will be a list of all the various WF armies uploaded onto Warfloot shortly & I will try and publish as comprehensive list as possible on this forum in the next week or so (but if potential participants have any doubts - EMAIL ME DIRECTLY)
3). high level but VERY IMPORTANT changes to be taken into considerations by all players:
a). all LHI are to be classified as KEY (regardless of what it says in the lists)
b). all LC are to be classified as KEY (regardless of what it says in the lists) - this is to encourage the inclusion of LC [k] 'heavy' armies such as Numidians, Saka, Parthians, Wu-Sun, Armenians etc
c). the event will be played using all the Cavalry Heavy, Terrain Heavy & Lower Initiative rules (so restricted game turns and victory conditions will apply)
I am aware these are significant changes that players will want to consider carefully, but I believe that this allows the broadest inclusion of all the armies in the lists - so Marian/Caesarian Romans are included with no restrictions (for example) - and allows armies such as the already [key] LC heavy armies to be considered. The key LHI & LC will also increase army BPs - to balance the 'risks'.
I am happy to take questions on this forum (from competitors ideally) or directly (from competitors).
